Day 15/365

Day 15:
I am thankful that my husband is able to work from home most days.  However, Max wants to play with his Daddy every time he walks by his office.  This picture captures his frustration.

Day 14/365

Day 14:
I am thankful for the seasons we get to experience here in N.J.--especially the fall.  I love my ugly pumpkins.  And Max loves to look at them out the front door everyday too.

Day 13/365

Day 13:
I am thankful to be getting in the holiday spirit a little early this year.  This is one of our "outtakes" trying to get a picture for our Christmas card.  I tried to get outside for the "golden hour" light, but I missed it.  We'll try again tomorrow!

Day 12/365

Day 12:
I'm thankful for the opportunity (and a supportive hubby) to start this new adventure.  I'm taking a leap of faith and starting a newborn photography business.  I was lucky enough to spend my day with this sweet little face today.

Day 11/365

Day 11/365:
I'm thankful for finding "good light" in my house.  After becoming so frustrated with fuzzy, dark pictures taken inside, I finally found some light that works.  Now, I guess I'll just take my newborn clients underneath my kitchen island for our sessions.

Day 10/365:
I'm thankful for twinkly eyes and cute little baby teeth.  When I was so tired from being up several times last night, he was just happy to see me.  And I forgot all about sleep when I saw him in this light.

Day 7/365

Day 7:
I am thankful that my hubs made me dinner tonight after a VERY long day.  Even if the kitchen filled up with smoke and the pizza stuck to the pizza stone.  It was a sweet thought.  ;-)

Day 6/365

Day 6/365:
Today I am thankful that my little man is already blessed with great little friends.  We love this little beauty.   She has a strong mama who loves her more than anything.  The feeling is mutual--you can tell by the way she was looking at her Mommy when I took this picture.

Day 5/365

Day 5/365:
Today I am thankful for simple games of "peek-a-boo".  This game is enough to light up this little boy's face...and that lights up mine.
*I've included two pictures--because they tell the story.

I am SO frustrated trying to get indoor shots without a flash.  It doesn't seem like my house is that dark, but I have the hardest time getting clear pictures when it is not super sunny out.  Please help me!

Day 3/365

Day 3/365:
Today I am thankful for ugly gourds.  They are always the first ones I pick up, because I think it's sad that others might not choose them.  They are my favorite.

I'm having a really hard time getting indoor pictures with low-light.  I'm not a huge fan of using the flash, especially with my little guy.  The flash always makes him look scared and leaves harsh shadows.  Any suggestions??

Day 1/365

Day 1/365:
Today I am thankful for sunshine and fresh air.  And sticky pinecones.
